He has founded and managed successful software companies in the UK and North America, including: MGB Computer Services, Radius Retail, Transatlantic Software, and MI9. Mike is a recognized retail software visionary committed to delivering software solutions that transform the retail enterprise. Roger Johnson / CTO Roger has 20+ years’ experience designing and building state-of-the-art retail systems. He is Chief Architect of the Intelligent Retail System suite of applications. The architectural underpinnings of these systems are unique among retail software offerings ensuring high performance, exceptional data integrity, and superior access to data regardless of the size of the retail environment. Enrica Carroll / VP Business Development Rickie has 25+ years’ experience in retail software sales and marketing working with Sterling Software Creative Data Systems, Jonas and Erickson Software, and MAI Basic Four. In the early 1990’s she helped launch STR, a store and middleware systems software company, based in Cleveland, OH. In 1999, having grown the business to $10M+ in sales, she sold STR to a public company. Since then, she has been consulting to retail software companies in the US and Canada. Eugene Voronov / Director of Development Eugene manages the software development team responsible for the design and implementation of Intelligent Retail System’s technical underpinnings. Eugene describes his team’s mission: “To produce innovative, robust software that provides rich functionality that can be deployed across the internet via a wide range of client devices”. Eugene has degrees in computer science from Moscow University and York University in Canada and is an expert in object-oriented design and advanced software engineering. John Inglis / Manager of Business Intelligence Systems John has 20 years’ experience in IT and retail system design in particular. He began his career working with a large fashion retailer in Scotland and then Kmart Canada. As Manager of Business Intelligence Systems for MI9, John brings to this position extensive retail database experience spanning design, performance, ETL and reporting. John and his team excel at bringing together disparate database sources and aligning them to meet sophisticated user analytics and reporting requirements. Their passion for problem solving enables MI9 to deliver maximum benefit to our clients. Barry Tyson / Development Manager Barry has 30+ years' experience in the software industry. For the past 20 years Barry has been with Software Development, Inc. (SDI) where he has managed design, development, and support for what is now the MI9 Store suite of applications. Prior to that, he was an independent business consultant. Sylvia McKewon / Finance Manager Sylvia has 25+ years’ experience in finance working with Software Development, Inc., Executive Air, and Peoplesoft. While at Peoplesoft, she helped launch a global settlement process including database design. She has been responsible for all accounting functions at Software Development, Inc. and continues in that role with MI9. Jennifer McKewon / Manager Quality Assurance Jeni has over 20 years' experience with Software Development, Inc. (SDI) in the areas of system testing and quality control. In 1998 she assumed management responsibilities for store system quality assurance and continues in this role with MI9.
